Management Team

Management Team
After taking the helm in 2008, Kevin Kennedy set about a strategic growth plan for Kennedy Fabricating, a plan that would require him to gradually build out key management positions in order to achieve healthy and profitable long term growth. Kevin has worked diligently to build a team and ensure each member shares the core values of the company (integrity, hard work and leadership), a strategic vision for growth and brings a diverse background of experience from which the company can draw to its benefit.

Kevin Kennedy – President
Kevin grew up working as a helper, welder and fabricator at Kennedy Fabricating. He later took on the role of President at the start of 2008 when Odie was ready to pursue other interests. Kevin saw it as an opportunity to expand on the foundation and reputation Odie had established. His aggressive growth strategy saw Kennedy Fabricating’s facility expand multiple times, as Kevin continued to develop relationships and establish Kennedy Fabricating as a top tier brand in telecommunications. Kevin also established a company culture founded on efficiency and hard work. Kevin is currently primarily responsible for business development, as Kennedy Fabricating continues to grow.

Kevin is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he earned a B.S. in Accounting as well as a M.S. in Finance. He began his career in assurance services at a big four public accounting firm. He then gained additional experience in the construction industry by taking a position with KBR. He spent two years as KBR’s Transaction Center Manager in Dubai before returning to the Houston area and taking over Kennedy Fab from his father.

Kevin is also deeply entrenched in the community, through his involvement with the East Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce and the East Montgomery County Rotary Club. Further, Kevin is involved with New Beginnings Resources, a non-profit which runs a small private school in Guatemala. The school’s purpose is to provide a Christian-based education to Mayan children who would otherwise go uneducated.
