Kennedy – Hurricane Harvey Relief Effort
UPDATE – DUE TO OVERWHELMING NEED AND RESPONSE IN OUR COMMUNITY, WE ARE EXPANDING OUR FOCUS TO ALSO INCLUDE THE BROADER SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES OF EAST MONTGOMERY COUNTY.
Giving:
God has granted us mercy and we are grateful for his provision. We are working directly with New Beginning Resources, Inc (a Christian based non-profit charitable organization) and HighPoint Fellowship (a local Splendora church) that will provide 100% of all proceeds directly to meet immediate needs of victims of Hurricane Harvey. Specifically, we are raising money for this effort to directly support Kennedy employees, customers, and vendors impacted as well as residents of East Montgomery County, as many have lost their homes and belongings.

Reporting those in need:
Kennedy is dedicated to helping directly in the relief effort for those locally impacted and especially those that are part of the Kennedy family/network. Please help us by reporting those in need so that we can identify and prioritize help.
First, Kennedy has put together crews for the purpose of flood remediation. Specifically, helping with the initial demolition so that mold or further damage does not result from inaction. Please report those that need help with this. Kennedy is paying our employees working in these crews as one part of our own contribution efforts.
Second, it is critical for all of us to get back to work and resume normal operations as that is the best way for everyone to get back on their feet. If you are unable to get to work (lost your vehicle, etc.), we are going to coordinate a carpooling network to assist.
Third, please report all issues of need so that we can assess and prioritize how we can help. Kennedy will be using its own resources along with gifts and charity from those donating to the relief effort to make the greatest impact it can. If Kennedy is unable to help meet some needs, we will attempt to connect those flood victims with the best organization able to assist them.
